Synopsis

In the blistering Chihuahuan Desert, a forgotten bottle of glowing sunblock unleashes a sentient terror that seeps into the minds of a small-town drifter, a diner cook, and a gas station mechanic. As Kit, Maria, and Matt battle for control of their wills, a horde of white-nosed prairie dogs marches to the whims of a diabolical Overlord hell-bent on hijacking a military rocket to bathe the desert in eternal sunlight. With time running out, unlikely heroes must outwit a sunscreen-fueled tyrant in a darkly comic race to save themselves—and the world—from a radiant apocalypse. Sunfire Block X is what you might get if you threw Bill and Ted in a blender with Tremors... then added prairie dogs.
