Biography

A Portuguese bilingual author with persistent inclinations towards poetic and philosophical prose, who decided in 2022 to start a series of books, focused on reinterpreting the existential sphere of the paranormal, as an allegory for the fundamental aspects of the human condition.

With the intention of overcoming grief, through a story where characters would be challenged to face that very obstacle with the courage that is necessary in all cathartic tales, his investment in writing is personal. Haunted by a wide range of influences that mesh both erudite culture and the brightest examples of pop, with an unequivocal Japanese anime leaning, his style can only be described as “novel cinematic”, from which his books can be enjoyed as an episodic TV show. Every paragraph a continuous camera shot; every description an orientation for actors and set producers alike.

His concerns over emotionally evocative iconography, aim to establish a group of larger-than-life figures that should instil the values of affection, bravery and understanding in the minds of upcoming generations looking to be lifted from the cynical and self-defeating notions of the 21st century. His work heralds a new Age of heroes.
