Kelly Roberts
Biography
Kelly has been writing for over 40 years, beginning with writing verse for greeting card companies, and evolving into contracts with two publishers for 49 books. When the first publisher changed editorial direction a week before her first book went to print (and the Publisher fired half the company, canceling dozens of books), Kelly took it in stride and kept submitting. The next contract involved 48 books for a young adult series, and Kelly felt secure with this publisher who had been in business for over 100 years. Unfortunately, editors couldn’t agree on the direction of the series and the series went into breach of contract on book two when they owed her money. It was then she decided to go indie and be in control of her own work and hasn’t regretted any moment of it! She currently has over 100 books on Amazon.
In addition to writing, Kelly is a retired clinical hypnotherapist and worked over 30 years as a psychic consultant to law enforcement agencies across the country, specializing in homicide cases.
