Biography

I'm Felicity Hewitt, mother of three and indie author focusing on the romantasy genre. I discovered my passion for writing after reading my first fantasy romance. I fell in love with the characters and was devastated when it was over. I craved connecting with characters again, and I wanted more of the drama, the angst, and the warm fuzzies that came with the book, so I decided to write my own. Violets & Vipers is my debut novel, the first in The Shadow Knight Series. I love writing stories with immersive world-building, relatable characters, and including my favorite tropes. My goal is to help readers not only escape with my writing but to feel seen and heard. Mental health and struggles with trauma are featured in my stories, as is support and healing for the characters. One of my greatest desires is for readers to feel seen and validated as they read my work. When I'm not writing, I enjoy gaming, obsessing over various fandoms, and spending quiet time at home with my family.
