Brian Holshouser

Biography

Born and raised in the rural Midwest, I fell in love with playing guitar and writing music from an early age. I’ve also always loved the fantasy adventure genre. I remember waking up early on Saturday mornings to catch the Mario Bros show with my brother just because they might play an episode of Zelda.
In my late teens I started reading. I fell in love with books like Peter Pan and Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. Eventually, I began reading modern books as well, a blend of fantasy and non-fiction.
My love for writing songs bled into story writing and I began writing a fantasy book about 14 years ago. As years went on I only wrote when I had time or felt like it.
I recently decided it was time to share the carefully crafted world of Gwyn’s with the world and recently published book I in the series.
