(Rev.) Romulus C. Kulik-Draco
Biography
"Since Tolkien’s LOTR, the concept of Fellowship has gained a much more complex, responsibility highlighting traction.
“The Fellowship of The Indie Author” has arrived for many Independent, Self-Published authors, barely anything short of a miracle.
The choice of taking the reins of publishing into one’s own hands, is a dialectic one. Because building an arena of readers, by meandering the obstacles and hurdles of becoming from a writer into an author, has found the majority of us unprepared, virtually having to battle multinational, millions of £$€ handling publishing corporations, for a place amongst “the published”, accepting therefore all help available, while rejecting the option of corporate support, which often comes with renouncing to our exclusive, sacrosanct in my opinion, copyright and intellectual rights over our own creations.
Who am I, who is (Rev.) Romulus C. Kulik-Draco?
To answer such a question honestly, the readers would have to dive into the “Memoirs from behind the Iron and the Wallstreet Curtains”, my autobiographical series, yet (but definitely) to be written.
I think the best would be to leave such a task, at the mercies of the Introductions I have written as Forewords to each of my four volumes, because there, the Poet and the Auto Biographer embrace, effusing to my humble hopes, everything can be said about the personal Ethos behind the creation of these books, their Poems, Vintage Photographs, Illustrations, Paintings, and Graphics, all Original. Because yes, locked in there, to be open to the inquisitive hearts, are fragments, painful shards often, of a six-decade tormented life, still desperately hanging onto the “Defiant Hopelessness” which has become the title of my 1st, then 2nd Upgraded and Expanded, volumes of poems.
Why, then for my next two volumes, titles such as “Upside-Down, Abandoned Heartstrings”, and “Stains of Bleeding Mould”? Well, as the wise would advise, there’s no better way to find out than watching this space, kindly honouring this author, with the curiosity of any, beautiful Poetry searching Readers!
